week of 31 October
In this week i learned how to create blocks. Blocks are a very efficient tool for your drawings when you have to draw repetitive objects. You just draw the object once and insert it where ever you need to on your drawing. In the archetectual practice i learned how th read the dimensions which were different from what im used to seeing. The elictrical practice was a little bit harder to draw considering there were no dimensions. It was hard to scale all of the blocks.

Week of October 24
This week I just finished working on dimensioning the practices as well as Lab 1 and Lab 3. In lab three i came up on a problem when i was trying to dimension the drawing that were at an angle. I then discovered that aligned dimensioning allowed me to dimension lines at an angle.

Week of 17 October
In this week i learned how to dimension in the viewport. I also learned that dimensioning should be done on model space and not paper space. I learned how to demension circles with diameters and arcs with radiuses. Arrows and dimesion lines can be edited in the properties menu for the selected dimension. I learned how to draw center lines of a cirlce an easier way. So far i have just been dimensioning my old practices and getting plenty of practice.

Week of 3 October
This week i learned the hatch command. This command allows you to fill in objects in order to define what it is or for indication. For example you can hatch an object with bricks or concrete to specify certain things. That is all i pretty much learned this week.

week of 26 september
This week i just caught up on some of the practices and i completed all of them up to date. I put all of the new commands i learned thus far to use. I try to find the most efficient way to do drawings using the commands.
Week of 19 September
In this week i learned six different commands to add to my autacad arsenal. I learned how to rotate an object which pretty much rotates the object from a pivot point or to a certain angle. The scale command allows you to scale an object to a different size. For example if you want to scale an object to half its size then you type in 0.5. The stretch command allows you to to stretch your objects on a certain side or multiple sides at the same time. In order to select the objects that you want to stretch you have to use the dashed square from right to left. The fillet command allows you to round corners of an object by choosing a radius. The chamfer command allows you to cut off corners of an object by either selecting the length you want to remove or by selecting the length and angle. The mirror command lets you symetrize an object. The array command lets you draw a series of objects as either polar or rectangular arrays. The rectangular arrays are drawn as rows and columns and you can also alter the angle as well. The circular array allows you to draw a series of an object that follows an arc of a circle or a complete circle.
