You can also type in angles for your lines. I also learned about layers and the different features you can use on them. Features such as type of lines you wanna use, locking a layer so your not allowed to draw on it, you can make a layer printable or unprintable and you can adjust the dimness of a layer as well.

Drafting Week 1
This week i learned how to navigate the ribbon on autocad and learned a few of the buttons and their functions. I learned that there are six essential buttons that will help you draw anything on autocad.
DWG- Is the format in which autoCAD saves its files. This format may help you open up drawings from the older software into the newer ones.
DXF- Is a format in which it allows you to operate autocad in other programs.
DWF- A lightweight drawing file format for posting drawings on the Web or sharing them with people who dont have AutoCad.
BAK- Files in Autocad created in the save commands. You may also convert BAK files to DWG.
